Progress in HADES Tracking and Alignment

In order to ensure an efficient and accurate operation of the track reconstruction in HADES, we have investigated sources of intrinsic misalignment have developed new approaches for the alignment of HADES tracking detectors. The effects from time calibration and geometry are distinguished using the drift time deviation variable t (calculated time – measured time) and selecting the tracks passed above and below a wire. The clearances between two parts of the layer in the MDCIII and the MDCIV were detected and defined for each layer. Figure 1 shows the example of such kind of correction for the MDCIV.
